SENSE Industry Symposium
Unleashing the Power of Earth Observation for a Greener Planet

The SENSE Centre for Doctoral Training would like to invite you to a one day symposium involving students, staff and partners of the centre.
The purpose of the event will be:
· To showcase the work in Earth Observation and environmental science being done by the SENSE Centre for Doctoral Training
· Explore opportunities for collaboration within the centre.
· Network with students, companies, academics and other staff working within the area of EO
· Explore future directions for research in Earth Observation and environmental science
During this event you will be given the chance to find out more about the centre and the research our students are doing but also work with groups with other industry partners, academics and students on a group activity simulating responding to an ESA Invitation to Tender. This workshop is being supported by staff from Assimila

9.00 am – 11.00am: SENSE CDT Showcase
11.00am – 1.00pm: How to write an ESA proposal
1.00pm – 2.00pm: Lunch and Networking
2.00pm – 4.00pm: Writing ESA Bids (group working )
4.00pm – 4.45pm: SENSE Den: presentation of projects ideas to our very own SENSE Dragons
4.45pm – 5.00pm: Summary and close
5.00pm – 6.00pm: Drinks and Networking
Attendance at this event is free however limited to two attendees per organisation.
